A refined champagne that delicately marries the past and the present. A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay aged in oak barrels, Ulitima Forsan is a tribute to the traditional savoir-faire of the house from times gone by. Aromas of spices, citrus and honey are all revealed in this mature wine, perfect for sharing over a romantic candlelit dinner…
"Ultima" The last one ? Perhaps. In any event this is the name of one of our special cuvées. A special name for a special champagne aged in oak to lend a suggestion of woodiness whilst not in any way masking the fruit. With a lively attack and a long finish Ultima will appeal to lovers of more mature champagnes and several commentators see it as the perfect wine for an intimate dinner à deux. Appreciated for its golden colour, its aromas of dried fruit and cherries as well as for its delicate structure on the palate. Your first taste is certain not to be your last.
